Rogers Hometown Hockey - Parade of Champions (Mississauga)
What kid would not love the chance to be seen live on national television? Here is their chance to make this dream come true. With Rogers Hometown Hockey coming to Mississauga Celebration Square on Dec 22/23, all of our MHL teams have an opportunity to participate in the Parade of Champions. Please see the attached document for details. The Parade will lead through the Festival site before the Dec 23rd broadcast begins with the participants ending up in a reserved area right behind the broadcast booth that Ron McLean and Tara Sloane will go live from. The City is hoping to break the attendance record set by Calgary last year and needs over 2,000 Parade participants to do so. Let’s show our hockey spirit by helping to break this record. To help the Festival team plan for the Parade please go to the link below the map in the attached document to register your team for the Parade and provide some information that may find its way onto the pre-game broadcast. You do not require your whole team to participate. Bring as many players as are available that evening. Wear your team’s hockey sweater and any other association apparel you have to show your hockey pride.

The Erindale Hockey Association (EHA) is one of the largest hockey associations in Mississauga. Started in 1946 by Wally and Gord Oughtred , Erindale has a proud history of providing children with the opportunity to learn the game of hockey in a positive and fun environment. All of our coaches and trainers attend clinics that have been specifically designed by Hockey Canada to ensure that their skills are kept up-to-date and they receive the necessary certification required to be part of the bench staff.

Erindale Hockey has many programs for children starting as young as four years old. Our home arena is the Erin Mills Twin Arena located on Unity Drive. The season begins in September and ends in March with playoffs as well as a banquet at the end of the year that includes trophy presentations to most Erindale teams.

We hope you find all the information you need on this site. If you would like more information on the Erindale Hockey Association or our programs, please feel free to contact us.
